Milligan & Hill offers on-site training for groups of up to 10 delegates, each receiving a comprehensive manual. Training sessions typically last approximately 3 hours and are customised to meet specific client requirements.

D.S.E. Training for Risk Assessors – 2 days
Maximum participants 6 – 8 delegates
Training includes:
- Review of H.S.E. regulations including employee and employer obligations
- Ergonomics and it’s application to the workstation
- Anatomy, physiology, posture and the significance of exercise and leisure activities
- Theory and practical demonstration of the adjustability of workstation equipment
- Education on the completion of the self assessment checklists
- Identification of corrective action required following analysis
D.S.E. Training for Employees – 3 hours
Maximum participants 8 – 10 delegates
Training includes:
- Review of H.S.E. regulations including employee and employer obligations
- Ergonomics and it’s application to the workstation
- Anatomy, physiology, posture and the significance of exercise and leisure activities
- Theory and practical demonstration of the adjustability of workstation equipment
Each delegate will receive a booklet summarising all the information covered in the training. |

Manual Handling |

Manual Handling for Supervisors – 3 hours
Maximum participants: 6 – 8 delegates
Training includes:
- Anatomy, posture and basic biomechanics of the spine
- Review of H.S.E. Manual Handling Regulations
- Discussion of the risks associated with poor manual handling
- Risk assessment
- Methods of enforcing safe handling policies
- What to look for in manual handling equipment
- The benefits of exercise and leisure activity
- Manual Handling problem solving
- Practical work-related examples of manual handling techniques
Manual Handling for Employees – 3 hours
Maximum participants: 8 - 10 delegates
Training includes:
- Anatomy, posture and basic biomechanics of the spine
- Review of H.S.E. Manual Handling Regulations
- Discussion of the risks associated with poor manual handling
- Risk assessment
- The benefits of exercise and leisure activity
- Manual Handling problem solving
- Practical work-related examples of manual handling techniques
All training can be customised to the specific requirements of the client. Training feedback will be supplied to the client. Certificates will be issued to all delegates. |
