Our state registered foot specialists (known as podiatrists) offer a full range of podiatry and chiropody treatments, using the latest techniques to help with a wide range of conditions affecting the foot and lower limb.

What can podiatry help with?

  • Foot pain due to bone, muscle, tendon or ligament problems/injuries
  • Heel pain, e.g. plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonosis
  • Knee pain
  • Hip pain
  • Lower back pain

These can all be due to the way the foot functions. It is possible to realign the foot with orthoses or reduce pain by strapping, padding and muscle exercises.

Podiatry assessment and treatment

Depending on your condition, your podiatry assessment may include a biomechanical examination and gait analysis (video where necessary) and/or running analysis. Stretching and strengthening exercises along with orthoses (3D insoles) may be prescribed. Footwear assessment and advice may also be given

What can chiropody help with?

  • Ingrown toenails and other problem toenails
  • Corns
  • Fungal infections (athletes foot)
  • Verrucae
  • Diabetic foot care advice
