Hand Therapy

What is hand therapy?

Hand therapy is a specialised discipline which encompasses physiotherapy and occupational therapy to treat injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist and forearm. These include tendon injuries, nerve injuries, pain syndromes, fractures, and arthritic conditions. Treatment may commence immediately following surgery.
